Fruit Gardeners Wanted!

WWFRF is looking for volunteers to contribute to the maintenance and development of a regionally significant 7 acre Fruit Garden located just West of Mount Vernon, WA.

  • Desire to grow great fruit
  • Desire to learn and do pruning

Required

  • An unconditional passion for fruit
  • Adventurous palate
  • Frequent attendance

Garden tasks include the following: tree and blueberry pruning, fruit thinning, drip irrigation installation, netting, grass mowing and mulching, pest and disease control and espalier construction.

Our current work parties meet on Thursdays (9:00 AM to noon) throughout the season.
